They actually are his sons. His adoptive sons. But yeah, Leorai can exist because they aren't actual siblings. But as for the turtles, they were ALWAYS actual brothers and that's why the Tcest can't exist. They're all even the same species of turtles!

Even if they're not genetically related to each other, any romantic relationship between them would still be incest given their respective places with the Hamato (not sure if I spelled that right) family unit. Yay, now I have a legit. reason not support this ship!

Yet people still pair them together which is disgusting since it's technically incest. If you support incest between fictional people then that says a lot about who you really are.

leo and his brothers are raised by splinter as though they are his sons. they were supposed to be his pets before they got doused by mutagen.

I was kinda glad they put Karai in there. They at least made a nod to the 2003 series, which I love, but making her Splinter's daughter just complicates things. The character Karai was created to be the Shredder's daughter, and now that canon is completely messed up. Karai isn't as evil as Shredder, but she still kind of fits into the 'bad guy' folder. Bet they're going to have like an hour-long episode or something where Karai realizes that she's Miwa and will go to the good side. This is why I like 2003's Karai more.
