Well, I know it's not a masterpiece. It's ugly, and requires some previous knowledge. But I'm not a teacher, so this is about as good as I can make it.
This Flash presentation shows the basics on how to make animations like mine. Unfortunately, there are things that you can't learn in one day. And programming is one of them.
The first part shows you how to make a controllable expanding belly. The second part shows you the more complex part of making expressions and reactions to different sizes.
Well, I hope some of you learn from this. If you ever make an expansion animation, let me know.

I haven't heard of that program. But you probably can't. Flash is the only interactive browser application with animated vectorial graphics that I know of.

Adobe Flash. Go find out about it at Adobe.com. It's not free, but you can download a trial version for 30 days. That's all I can say.

i'm stuck at the part where you edit the belly. was the belly supposed to be a separate object?
also how do i edit it if it's now one movie clip?

Each MovieClip has its own timeline inside it. You can edit a MovieClip object by double clicking it on the stage. You can aso find it in the library.
I think you'll need to learn a few basics about Flash before watching this tutorial. I couldn't explain everything about Flash in it.

Hey, quick question: How did you get the fills in for the shapes?

If the ends of all the lines are connected. The fill tool (With a paint buekt symbol) will put a color in the closed area. But it only works if the area is closed.

Wow very nice ok im sitting here at my laptop and i think (well maybe i should visit DA)
so i get on and i think in mood for flash anime soooo i type in Cynder and i find one of your animes and i stare at it for an hour and i think how dus he make it?
and i look at flash stuff and i find this i wach and read ALL of it and im extatick 1,000ns of things go wizing in my head and one is i need to get DRAWING!

i had that problem with not being able to upload flash all you have to do is click "Files" then move your mouse over "Export" then click "Export Movie" and type the name of your flash make sure it says "Flash Movie (*.swf)" below the name then click "Save" then upload it to deviantART and your done

Well, you'll need to have Flash before you can make anything. You should check it out at Adobe.com, there's a free trial version that lasts 30 days. You can also search for Swishmax for another alternative.

very very impressive this could prove useful for a lot of beginner animators infact this looks so useful that i think this deserves to be in the list of featured devientations.

I don't have Flash or Photoshop just yet, but I would plan to get Flash since I'm seeing proof that it's much better than Photoshop.
One such instance I saw was when =vaporotem did comparisons of Mina done on Photoshop and Flash.

Flash is good for animations, games and cartoons. Photoshop is better for image manipulation and more realistic art. None of them are superior to eachother, but you won't get my kind of drawings in Flash.

It should be easier, because you don't have to work with pointers or fixed length arrays.
