I had snakes when I was younger & I don't know if I could get them again... The snakes were gone but I didn't like feeding them.
That's one thing I also wish for the leopard geckos. They can only eat bugs. When this pandemic first started & I was wondering if the pet stores were going to close, the leopards were my main concern as far as feeding. Everyone else here can eat fruits, veggies, baby food, powdered food mixes, etc. But not the leos. They have really good size tails so they could go a while without food but I wouldn't want to make them go through that!

I never reccomend this BUT when times are super tough, you could set wild cricket traps to catch some for them if food gets scarce....
I normally dont reccomend it since parasites are a thing but sometimes it's all you can do to feed them in tough times.
All you need is some mulch, a shovel or digging tool and a plank of light wood.
Dig you a hole the size of your container, place it in the hole, put some mulch in it, cover it with the plank and leave it a few days, it will attract crickets that want to nest and they will lay eggs in the mulch and start living there.
It doesnt trap em exactly but it give them a large breeding ground which you can extort xD
If your Leo's are big enough, you can feed them pinky mice aswell but I'm one of the few reptile owners who didnt feed mice to my reptiles since it bothered me too much.

Thanks for the info on catching crickets, I didn't know that. I totally didn't think about pinkies. But I suppose if the stores were closed I'd still have to find them. Lol. I think things will be opening here soon-ish. The state gov. Said they were over riding the governors stay at home act & everything was allowed to open. But then the county said they were still staying closed. Some bars here literally opened for 20 mins before being forced to close again. But those places were so packed, no 6ft distancing was even possible. So I don't think that was safe...

Yeah this whole reopen thing is suicide......
There was a 5000 infection count within 5 days after the reopen....
Thats literally 1000 people per day.....
That famous doctor Fauci guy has warned them that this will end very VERY badly but no one will listen....
Guess all we smart people can do is stick to the rules and try to stay safe.....

My doctor told me I shouldn't work at all but how will I pay for my house & car & bills?! I just ware my mask at work & wash my hands as often as I can...

yeah same with mom and brandon. they are working still and the factory hasnt had any outbreaks yet but theyre being super super careful, only allowing one person at a time in a room and such.
theres not much we can do but move past this though.....
in the past, humans have survived because they become immune to the diseases, viruses by catching it and getting antibodies.... sadly we cant do that if we social distance or lock ourselves in.
if we hide from every pandemic like this in the future... there will be no future... but its still scary...

I haven't been wearing my mask as much anymore. I can't breathe in it very well anymore. I just keep thinking the fabric has got to be getting full of the bacteria from my face & clogging it up. It can't be good to breathe that in all day. I try to ware it only when I'm working with customers.
