Absolutely! It's still pretty cold here so on the randomly warm days I try to bring some of my critters outside.

Yeah same here.
Chibi LOOOOOOVVVES being outside.

I know chameleons arent very speedy so you dont have to worry about them fleeing but chibi is a little speed demon.

With the speedy reptiles, I use a piece of thread looped into a granny knot. Fence lizards are light enough and sturdy enough that you can put a loop around their neck in a "granny knot only" because the knot loosens or tightens depending on if the reptile tries to flee but it uses their body weight against them but at the same time it doesnt hurt em.

Chibi gets walks on the porch all the time with this method xD he loves having free will to scurry across the large ass stretch of porch hahaha but he wusses out alot and scurries back to my foot if he smells or sees a bird or cat which is very weird behavior for a fence lizard.

Aww that's super cute!! Last year I took Chubs outside & all of a sudden he just bolts off!! I was able to catch him before he ran off the deck! Thank goodness. I would not hand enjoyed crawling under the deck to get him. Sure made the dogs excited! Lol
