" Alright men, here's your mission! Apparently some mysterious signal was detected in this place known as Mt. Ebott. Seems like it actually held an entire civilization of people. They tried looking for any survivors, but progress has shown none so far and all they've seen around the place is dust."
"Only Dust...Did any of the other soldiers encounter any mercs in the place?"
"No,why?"
"I was just thinking maybe mercenaries killed all the others with flamethrowers or something."
" Couldn't happen." The other squads reported that they only saw dust, no bodies at all."
" I'm guessing whoever killed them is not the pleasant type."
" what about the mysterious transmission that was receive?"
" The most we got out of the transmission was static, screams, and strange voices!"
"Something about this mission seems...wrong."
" We're going to drop you near the mountain, as you'll have to climb your way up this mountain yourself! You'll find some cave, and you have to find a hole of some kind and drop down into it!"
"Wait, how far is the drop from the hole to this civilization!"
"Soldiers say the drop is one that should've killed them, but seem to wake up with no reported injuries."
"How in the Hell is that possible?"
" Don't know, don't care. Makes this mission all the more easier!
"We're heading towards the landing zone, remember your objective!"
Our soldiers have learned of their objective: To search a mysterious civilization that is devoid of life.
Many questions run through their head:
What kind of civilization is it?
Who lived in it?
Who killed those people?
"Where is this killer?"
and most importantly, "Did we have something to do with this?"
