Seymour walked to the door slowly, holding a stick with a sack of his belongings hanging behind his back, feeling his chest ache unbearably. He's been meaning to do this from the first day he grew up, but he's finally got himself together and decided to leave the Nook, as living here became rather.. uncomfortable for him. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was something he forgot to do before leaving. But what was it?
Suddenly a loud caw was heard through the hallway. Seymour turned back to see two quads entering the lobby, tan and orange ones.
Of course. He forgot to tell his brother about the whole thing.
"Simon?" The tan quad spoke, he seemed really curious. "Where're you going?"
"O-oh hey, Bonbon..." Seymour glanced away from Bonbon and chuckled awkwardly. "This is rather sudden, I-i know, but I've decided to leave the Nook at last."
"Already?? Why?"
"W-well, I.. I decided it's time for me to live on my own."
Bonbon shared a quick glance with Lionel, then looked back at Seymour. He ran to his brother and stood right beside him. "Are you sure? Why the rush, do you not like it in here? Where're you gonna live?" he just kept throwing questions at him, chirping in-between sentences.
Seymour stared at Bonbon, a bit startled. He didn't expect his brother to become so concerned, it's not like they weren't to see each other again ever. Besides, this is the most he's seen the bird-like gro to ever talk in his life.
"I-i.. I've found a place to live, don't worry. This place is okay, but I've just figured I want to live by myself."
Bonbon lowered his head and stayed silent for a short while. He didn't like this, not one bit. He couldn't help but think of the time his former roommate Maple left the Nook, and it was hard to handle even though they hardly knew each other. And they've never met again. And in this case it was someone he viewed as little brother! Who would be okay with this?
"Maybe.." he spoke, his voice noticeable shaking "Y-you could stay with us? It's totally okay! Right, Lionel?"
Seymour took a quick glance back to see Lionel standing at the other side of the short hallway with a genuine surprise on his face. The brown gro smiled softly and said to his worried brother:
"No, Bonbon.. trust me, it's better this way."
"But maybe-"
"I've made my mind, Bonbon, I'm leaving." Seymour suddenly got serious and glared at his brother, making it clear he was certain about his decision. He immediately regretted it though, as he saw Bonbon sitting down with his head lowered and weeping quietly.
Oh Chii'..
Seymour knelt down and hugged his big brother, about to cry himself. "H-hey, come on, i-it's not like I'm leaving Wynpish, I'm just moving out." he spoke as he tried to comfort Bonbon.
"....B-brothers stick togeth-ther." was all he heard in response, accompanied with sniffling.
"Brothers have their o-own lives too. But we're still brothers, and nothing will tear us apart."
Bonbon nuzzled against Seymour's chest softly, not saying a word this time. Brown gro patted the quad's head carefully and proceeded to hug him again, which the latter didn't mind at all.
"I'm sorry. I should have told you sooner."
Bonbon tweeted quietly in response and then added:
"Good luck."

"Promise me to intive me to your place when you've settled down."
"O-oh, you betcha!"
