In my "What If I was in Dragon Ball?" story, my intervention changed a lot of things, both for the best and the worst.

After winning the Tournament of Power and wishing for the restoration of all the erased universes, all of us in team Universe 7 were finally able to go home with great relief. Froze, Piccolo, Yamcha and Vidro decided to go rest to their houses. However, the Son family, the Briefs family, Krilin's family and even my own had another commitment to attend and quickly tidied up as fast as we could to go there before it ended. Days before the Tournament of Power, the team and I talked and agreed not to tell the children about it, as we all agreed none of us wanted them to have such stress and the fear of being potentially erased on their young heads, but as we were finishing discussing it, my son entered the room alongside Bra, saying that they were passing by when they heard the word "Tournament" and they wanted to know about it. Thankfully they didn't hear all the conversation but it quickly became clear none of the adults present knew what to say. And in that moment, before their young minds could ponder any more questions, Hercule of all people spoke, telling the children that the World Martial Arts Tournament was going to be advanced since he was thinking that it should be done more often. This was obviously a lie, but the children got so excited that they basically begged us to let them participate, which we had to agree with to keep the cover. After giving them permission they basically flied out of the room to tell Goten and Trunks. After they left we thanked Hercule and apologized to him for putting him in trouble. He said it was no problem, that we should let him deal with it and that we should be using our time preparing for the Tournament of Power instead of worrying about it.

Hercule quickly began preparations and used his connections to change how often the World Martial Arts Tournament should happen. He told the organizers that he was growing bored of having no challenge and the fact that he allegedly was the "hero who saved Earth from Cell" made the process way easier. The World Martial Arts Tournament would be held the same day that the Tournament of Power so the children would be busy. Of course the kids asked why none of the adults would participate but we told them that we just had something very important to do and we should get back soon. Now that we were back, we swiftly when to watch the competition. When we arrived, the tournament was on it's final stage. There was no distinction between the children and adult divisions, which made Goku, Krillin and I remember the old times. Needless to say, Goten, Trunks, Bra and my son mopped the floor with every other fighter until they were the only ones left, with Maron not participating and just being watched over by one of Hercule's assistants before 18 and Krillin arrived, but besides Buu, there was another fighter that caught the attention of Goku and I... Uub.

I must admit. I was surprised. Shortly after, I remembered that Babidi came way earlier than in the original story and that I actually asked Enma to reincarnate the soul of Kid Buu. That was years ago, so I was happy to see that Uub was already old enough to participate, and so was Goku. First, my son and Trunks fought, with my son easily winning, gaining a laugh from me and a smug smirk from 21 at the expense of Vegeta and Bulma's frustration. Then, Bra fought Goten, with Bra winning by tricking Goten, which now made Bulma and Vegeta happy while Milk just sighed and Goku nervously laughed. Then, it was Uub's turn against some random guy that he easily defeated. After that, it was time for my son to fight Bra. Neither of them wanted to actually fight seriously as they both liked each other. My son didn't knew Bra liked him back but Bra was very aware he liked her, so in the middle of the fight she wickedly gave him a kiss on the cheek that made his face go red as a tomato and made him lower his guard, an opportunity Bra used to push him out of the platform, which would have worked if Victor hadn't recovered and fly high on the last second, gaining a furious glare from Vegeta, a grossed expression from Trunks, an earnest laugh from Bulma, and a facepalm brom both me and 21. After almost losing, Victor was able to push Bra out of the platform without hurting her, winning the fight. Uub once more fought a random person and won, which meant the final fight would be between my son, Victor, and Uub, with the winner having to fight Hercule, who was literally trembling at the thought of it.

The fight was ferocious. Victor felt Uub's ki to be somewhat similar to that of his mother which confused him a bit but not wanting to lower his guard as he did with Bra, who was now cheering him from the stands, which also gave him a boost in confidence, not that he would admit it though, the memory of his embarrassment in their fight still fresh. Uub from his part was a bit nervous, having defeated his other opponents surprisingly easy, this was the first time he went all out in a fight, but despite his nervousness, part of him was actually enjoying the battle, making it even more intense. At first, they were evenly matched, with Goku smiling every time Uub showed his ability. Vegeta took notice of this, as well as how familiar Uub's ki was and quickly deduced that the kid fighting my son was in fact the reincarnation of Kid Buu. In the end, due to Uub's lack of expertise in battling and my son's extensive one, my son won.

As 21 and I were congratulating our son and before Uub could leave, Goku approached him, telling him it was a great battle with UUb accepting the compliment. Goku then asked him if he wouldn't be interested on training with him to become stronger. Uub was going to politely decline until an old King Chappa, who had attended the Tournament as an spectator, told him that it was a good idea that would help Uub release his full potential. Goku greeted the old man joyfully and King Chappa was also happy to see him again. In the final match, my son basically slapped Hercule out of the platform, who of course said he was containing himself and decided to let the child win, a lie the general public bought. In the end, my son won the World's Martial Arts Tournament and Uub decided to take his old master's advice and train under Goku, telling Victor he would like a friendly rematch which my son happily agreed to. And just like that, the 26th World Martial Arts Tournament came to an end. Of course I know the Red Ribbon army is lurking in the shadows, but knowing Hedo won't be a problem for years to come, I just decide to enjoy the moment...

I know the Superhero arc is left, but I want to wait for the manga to advance as well as the release of Dragon Ball Daima to have more material to continue this story. Don't worry though! This doesn't mean that I'll stop creating and releasing my Dragon Ball related content during that time, not at all. In fact, I will take this opportunity to announce my next project: DRAGON BALL ROKU! This new project is an alternate version of this story, once again pondering the question of What If I was in Dragon Ball, but this time with a major twist, as instead of Universe 7, DRAGON BALL ROKU will tell a story of what if I had appeared in Universe 6 instead! I always taught it would be fascinating to know more about Universe 6 and this the perfect opportunity to show you all my take on it, on a story full of characters we know and love as well as new, completely new ones! With that said, I'll see you all the next time, this time, on DRAGON BALL ROKU!
