In my "What If I was in Dragon Ball?" story, my intervention changed a lot of things, both for the best and the worst. After Champa's visit, the tournament beween Universe 7 and Universe 6 was decided, however, this time, it'll be a 7 V 7 with one week to prepare the participants. I decided this would be the perfect time to finally go for Broly. The reason I decided not to do it earlier was because I wanted to make sure that we would be strong enough to at least knock him down between the three of us in the rare case he turns into a SSJ, and saying that I knew about a Saiyan that not even Vegeta had heard before would've been extremely suspicious, so I waited until I had the perfect opportunity, and while Goku and Vegeta went training, I went to Bulma, who was busy building the Super Dragon Radar, and told her I needed the Dragon Balls to ask if there were other strong warriors in the universe and who was the closest one, to which she agreed. I hated lying to her, but I needed a cover to go find Broly without anyone asking questions that'd be difficult to answer, so I just used the first wish for a house where my family and I could live since 21 and I are kinda tired of living at Capsule Corp, and used the second wish to get an insane amount of chocolate.

With that done, I just had to tell Goku and Vegeta that Shenron told me about a very strong Saiyan that lived on a distant planet, which really intrigued Vegeta and made Goku literally jump in excitement. We then used the third wish to bring Broly to Earth. At first he was obviously extremely surprised and attacked us immediately. Fortunately, he didn't trigger his SSJ transformation and only entered his Wrath State, so it was pretty easy to defeat him, after which we dialogued with him, giving him chocolate and calming him down. We then just spent time, with Broly amazed at the beauty of planet Earth, finding it very different to Vampa in a good way. I also helped him remove the his collar and talked, with him eventually talking about Ba when Goku asked about the fur he wore. I then explained him that just because his father says he does something, it doesn't mean he has to, after all, Vegeta didn't do anything to him. Still, he wanted to bring his father, so I told him that we would after reuniting the Dragon Balls again. In the meantime, we presented him to everyone else, making a good friendship with 16. Of course we told him about the tournament and that it could be a good opportunity for him to have some fun, which he was curious about. Maybe his father might be problematic on the future, but for now, I'm pretty confident we have gained a powerful ally for this tournament... and the next one...
