M78 and NGC 2071 are part of a large complex of reflection nebulae on the edge of the larger Orion Molecular Cloud Complex. M78 lies 1600 light years from earth.ASA DDM60 Pro, Pentax 125 SDP, Apogee U8300, IDAS LPS filter. 210 min total exposure time.
