Description
Translation: As newborn babes desire the rational milk without guile, that thereby you may grow unto salvation: If so be you have tasted that the Lord is sweet.As I mentioned before, this is a blend of Low (Quasimodo) Sunday and Holocaust Remembrance Day, both this past April 15th. I pictured Quasimodo (who is named after Low Sunday in the original novel) saving a baby from meeting the same fate as its Jewish parents. And in 15th century Europe, being Jewish often equated a death sentence.
The Lord is indeed sweet, as long as there are people like Quasimodo around.

May God bless those who still live after surviving such a tragedy. As a Christian, I know my roots are in Judism, it pains me to know that His choosen people were and are treated in such a manor.

it's beautiful and deep. I love the baby's expression and the tenderness in Quasi's face! Wonderful artwork and it suits the subject. Awful things such as Holocaust are to be remembered so as to avoid them in a future, remembering and being concious of the horrors of this world.
