Recent painting based on an old idea from a dream I had maybe in 2015. In the dream, there was this mother with her child, walking in this very industrial and grey environment. There was so much dust there in the dream, that it was hard to capture it in the painting. Of course the dream was much darker than the painting, there was no lights or anything, just this bleak environment.

Also want to add, that when I started oil painting at first in 2015, I started with this idea basing myself on the dream. It was done differently, with a different view point, composition, and on a larger format. But it turned out to be too ambitious for me and I was struggling with it, so I ended up wiping the board and using it for another painting. So I guess this painting was done just to get over this idea that I had in my mind for many years.
