Depends on the punishment. Sometimes it seems like heaven, at first glance. Like the gangster who didnβt realize HIS heaven was the thrill of the struggle for survival, the surprises of uncertainty, so his Hell was the permanent boredom of absolute predictable safety, of being pampered and served exactly as planned, no surprises, no resistance, no law, no chaos.
