Only played the demo when I was 14 and immediately shat my metaphorical pants. Im a bit of pussy when it comes to resident evil series, especially being rushed and stressed by zombies. I only play the demos lol
I enjoyedΒ the silent hill series more, where its a bit more relaxed in term of pacing and exploration.

I just don't like loud noises and sounds. Silent Hill is more "silent", atmospheric and more "pleasant" in terms of sound, the music is a reason alone to play the first games.
In resident evil, it was more the sounds that creep me out for some reason, not so much the visuals. A lot of surprise jump scares which you don't have in silent hill (at least not in the old games)
Also the chainsaw noise was just like,oh shiiiet.. But thats when I was like 14, maybe it will be different again. I remember sweating from the demo of re4Β haha
