Some people may think that this kaiju is somewhat generic looking but I really like this kind of design. It has a showa thing going on for it.

Meh, yeah, he's a bit simple in design, but that's kind of the point. He's a Showa kaiju design in more ways than one, so it makes sense that he has a simplistic design.

Monsturra looks like something straight out of War of the Monsters, which really resonates with me.

He kind of does, though he outweights/dwarfs the monsters from that game (Monsturra is 262 feet in height, and weight about 300 tons).
