Description
Commissioned artwork. This is a Godzilla hybrid commissioned to include aspects of the old and new. The overall base suit is the SoshingekiGoji suit, from the showa series, used in 1968 - 1972. The added elements are mostly from the Legendary 2014 look, having smaller eyes, some proportions, the tail, the gills, the feet, but with the toes a bit longer, and the scales and textures mixed with the showa suit's classic keloid scarring texture. The dorsal plates are GMK inspired.Sculpted in ZBrush. Rendered in Keyshot.

It's easier to say which are my least favorite, as I love so many. Finals Wars Goji isn't on my list. And the 75 suit. Son Of godzilla is a bit weird too. Gotta be honest tho, Legendary design is s close to a favorite as possible, tho I can't quite bring myself to saying that definitively. to me a definitive Godzilla look is a toss up between the 64, the 84, and 89. honorable mentions, GMK, g2K, both being powerful and ferocious. Love them! as for showa, the 67 suit, and 62 suit have always been appealing to me in a lot of ways. So, yeah, I love em all for the most part. Tho, we speak not of the American '98 debacle. ; )

This is amazing! I love the hybridizaton, my inner 6 year old self is loving it.Β The 'Creature from the Black Lagoon" plates on the arms and legs do look kind of weird tho.... more like what one would see on a updated 'Ultraman' kaiju. Hmmm. OK, maybe they are growing on me.
