Description
Part 1 of 5 Commission for Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5The winning sorceress (Tika) is based on a female version of the Philippine mythical creature known as a 'Tikbalang'. The Tikbalang has the features of a half-human, half-equine creature and is often described as having supernatural powers. The tikbalangs are usually shown as male but there are many versions of the folktales and some include female versions who have magical powers. Basically Tika has a conflict with a rival, human, sorceress and defeats her, turning her into an anthropomorphic equine - a pet that can be used for her pleasure.
