Even though I already watched it already,its still crazy to think about it.

Here is my story of how MLP impacted my life and how it saved my life...

Let’s start from the beginning...

Hi,my name is Aspen.I am 23 years old and born October 4th,1996 and I’m diagonosed with high functioning autism. When I was growing up,I wanted to become an artist/cartoonist. My passion is to draw. When I was in elementary school I took drawing lessons and my teacher and the other students loved my art. During that time,I first expierenced My Little Pony,Gen 3 that is. When I saw MLP G3 , I absolutely loved it. I loved the characters in the show and my favorites were Pinkie Pie and Minty. I collected EVERY MLP toy and DVDs. Then all of the sudden,I stopped caring for My Little Pony cause I thought it was too...dumb for me. Then I moved on till I got to high school. My high school expierence was both good and bad. The good things were my teachers,my counsler,my new friends,and my art and 3D animation class. The other thing I wanted to be was a cook/baker but my cooking teacher thought I wasn’t good enough though he did like me. So now my go to passion is drawing. My art teacher Mrs Bryant and my 3D animation teacher Mr Arnold were so nice to me and they actually thought I was good enough and had talent. The bad stuff though...

There were boys in my class,one of them was named Josh,and they used to mentally tease me about the end of the world. All of their end of the world talk got me very VERY upset. It got to a point where...I actually wanted to take my own life....Not once...but a few times... I actually tried to jump off of the school buildings but what saved me was my teachers,my security guard friends,my actual friends,my family,and...My Little Pony..

Why did My Little Pony save my life you may ask? Well back in October 2011 during the start of my freshmen year,I heard a lot of people talk about My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic and how amazing it was. So during my home time,I went on the computer and watched some MLP YTPs and they were HILARIOUS and that got me to watch the show. I watched Lesson Zero and Luna Eclipsed as my first episodes to watch and I loved it. I loved the characters,the stories,the animation..Everything I loved.
Then I started to binge watch the show from episode 1 and I was amazed on how amazing the show was. After that,I became a full blown pegasister. I started to collect the toys again and collected the comics of the show. Then I stumbled across the bronalysis community and I aboslolutely love their videos so much! Then other Youtubers like BronyDubs4Life,Pony Pokey,mlpstopmotion,I loved every single MLP content creators. Then I started to draw ponies. My first look of my ponysona was CRAP! No thought and effort when making my first ponysona.Then slowly but surely,I got my ponysona just right.I met a lot of friends in real life who loved ponies like I did like and . One of my friends went to a Brony convention and met Andrea Libman and he gave me the autograph that Andrea gave to him. I also met a lot of people online who love the show like I do and loved my pony art. Seeing people who love me for me and love my talent made me so happy and proud..But...Being an animator is so hard and I can’t think of any original ideas.. I can’t draw bodies and positions right...I don’t know how you guys still appricate me and my art... But....I guess thats all that matters.. In 2015,I met the future love of my life,Ryan. At first we were just friends,then became brother and sister but Ryan secretly had a crush on me.I also got Ryan back into MLP cause he went off during season 5. Now me and Ryan are together and we met in RL in 2018 and it was amazing.

In December 2017,it was leaked that MLP was coming to an end in 2019 and sure enough its true and its here..

MLP,thank you so much for everything.Thank you for the memories.Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for shaping up my teenage years and my young adult years.Thank you for saving my life...Without you,I probably wouldn’t be alive and would’ve been dead 7 or 8 years ago and I wouldn’t have seen that the world is still okay and I wouldn’t have met the love of my life...

You’ve come so far MLP. I am so proud of you MLP staff and Lauren Faust
