Finally! The whole cosplay is finished (besides some touch ups :3 )
nearly 3 months worth of work! I hope everyone likes. Time for Anime Nabraskcon! I'll be in public come Nov. 4 - Nov. 6

Again, a huuuuge thanks to my mom for helping me on this cosplay. It wouldn't be a thing without her.

Yeah the picture thing is a double edged sword of 'yes people love this enough for a picture' and 'I just want to walk 10 ft without stopping'. Arakoa (googles - assumes WOW results), I see you like to go for the simple costumes lol. Do you know how you're going to build it yet or just some ideas? I know some friends that build the more cartoon style fursuits, but I'm pretty sure they know where to find some good tutorials of the more life like ones if interested.

I got everything planned out just need to get the time to make it
the legs will take a bit but I got the claws already for that, need high heels without the heel to make the feet
the wings are going to be actual wings and not bent like the WoW wings are on Arakoas, no these are going to be full on feathery wings we're making out of foam, wire, and alot of paint. I'll have it strapped to my pinky and ring fingers allowing me to still use my hands for writing and grabbing, which I still have claws on the remaining 3 fingers
the head is going to be combo from feathers and fur. The clothing is going to be something like a rouge or magic caster, I will have some scale mail on the head and chest

I hear you loud and clear on needing free time to build stuff (I want to build my OC, but no time :/). Be careful with the heel-less high heels. A friend of mine tried that trying to do hooves for a pony suit, and he was in tears not long after wearing them as they didn't provide proper support. I feel you would know this / have planned for it already but far warning just in case. I always laugh as people think I'm on those in my suit, but they are actual crocks XD, the make great snow shoes from time to time lol. Yes, having free fingers is a must! Sounds like you have your work cut out for you again with the wings. Though I don't really know the wow characters ( I avoid the game as I would too easily get addicted to it) I'm guessing you're going to do that character justice. Will you be posting work in progress again or just the final build?

Yeah, I'll be posting progression images when I get to working on it finally. I have nearly all the material for it now.
As for the heels, I might put a support wedge behind the toes that will keep my feet up without needing to be on my toes alone.
I need to mess with the design a little to see what works.

But I think I got the right foam now to make the feathers out of and just need to test the coloring process to see what works and what doesn't
I think the only thing I don't have now be the right color of scale mail for my clothing wear.
With my brother's cosplay being in white, my mom's being in reds, my black feathers I think will be needing blues and silvers
I need to sketch some color samples first

Cool, when you say scale mail your talking that chainmail stuff with scales on top right? You'll have a cosplay suit and workout gear in one lol, well depending on how much is used. Good Luck, I'll keep an eye out.

the scale mail is only going to be on the head and chest of the bird, it's not a full suite ^_^

3 kinds of foam, mink for fur, lots of pain, 18 gauge wire and electrical wire, silver lame fabric, lots and lots of hot glue

it's for the led eye what led you use ?? and for make the eye too ^^

The LED behind the eye is a kit I bought from DreamVisionCreation's store. I couldn't have possibly make it myself without spending some real money
The eye ball is made from a plastic christmas ordiment that was split in two and painted : )
The eyes were suspended with metal 20gage wire

Wow! It looks amazing! Those feet are awesome, and so are the glowing eyes! Do they hurt your eyes when they glow?
And I absolutely love the fact that you have the purple outfit underneath the suit.
And I love that first picture, Springy just lounging about. ☺

my eyes see out the mouth of the head so I don't see the lights at all.
: ) I'm more cosplaying as the Purple guy stuck in the suite than I am of Spring Bonnie

Solid block foam, same kind you use for benches.
: ) there's a leather peice at the base of the foot so I can keep my foot in the foam. The foam is covered in silver Lamé which then I painted with browns, greens and reds. The feet ridges are made with painted plastic tubing
There's valco in the back of the heel to keep in place : )
