Description
I'm very sorry about the poor quality of this photograph... the original image is too big for my scanner, and it's really a shame at how it turned out. The picture looks so much better in real life...Anyway, this is my completed version of the raven drawing I was working on for art homework. The picture in real life is much brighter than it appears in this image, and I just feel that the photograph really took away from the picture...
This took at total of about 4 hours to work on... which I actually find quite fast
I will be turning this in for my next art homework when I return to school on Tuesday, so at least it was worth working on^^ All and all, I really like how it turned out^^

My best friend has 7, too. But CS3 won't install on my pc, so it's like I don't have it... It was hecka expensive, but my school uses this website called "journeyed" that lets students get things at ridiculously discounted prices. I think anyone can use it, too... You should checks it out...

I should
Thanks so much for the info^^
My friend Caitlin (~drawfox5 ) uses a different version of Photoshop, actually... it might be an elements? I'm not sure...
But her stuff that's done on it is beautiful!
It's way better than anything I can do on my Photoshop, although she still tells me she'd do anything for 7

Yeah, I use elements but I hate it. It has not very many tools, just the basics. DX I didn't even know how to do anything in photoshop until I'd taken two classes with it. X3

I took a class two years ago on how to use Photoshop (before hand, I had never even used one ) and yes, I'll agree, it really did help^^
Basically, I can just do a few of the basic simple things on Photoshop, but I wish I knew how to do more advanced things--especially when it comes to my coloring.

I don't really know how to color much with photoshop, either. I don't really do it very much... I'm more of a traditionalist. But I use it as a cleanup tool. ^^"

When I color in Photoshop, it's usually pretty basic
My shadows and highlights are nothing special... but I guess it's something compared to just regularly doing base colors.
I like to use colored pencils to color every so often, as well, but I'm not the best with them I can never really get a good coloring "style" with them. And my scanner always takes away from the color of them when I scan after having used them. That's usually why I end up using Photoshop in the end. Lol.

I like my markers. Everyone says I'm lucky to have so many copic markers, which is true, but they're the product of two Christmases and me saving up a bunch of money. ^^" I only really do backgrounds in photoshop, but I should mess around more with coloring...

I would love copic markers
I hear they're really great, and the artwork that's done with them turns out beautiful^^
The only problem again is the expense.
Oh, well.
But someday soon, I plan on getting myself a set of them^^

I know. I can't afford them anymore, I'm lucky to have the ones I have (even though my black and skin tones are dying cuz I use them too much). They're really fun - most of my art is done with them.

I know what you mean about black and skin tones. Lol.
Even with my colored pencils, which are an expensive brand, going at about $3 each, I always tend to run out. I've gone through at least 4 of each by now...
They're just the most commonly used colors. Lol.

Wow. I use/love Prismacolor pencils and I can get them about 50 cents a pop... It's because every character uses probably black and skin. ^^"

Yeah. Lol.
I want to get a prismacolor set for Christmas... but the complete set costs around $150...
I use Derwent, some water color colored pencils (which really have no difference when you color with them) and the regular. They can get up to $200+ for a compete set...
I wish art supplies didn't cost so much...
