Then we basically agree! I just made the model as the enemy would see it; whether it is due to the reflection of light waves from its form or hallucinogens, does not really matter.
As you said, most of the mythology and canon religious background do portray the succubi that way, and I let my imagination agree with them. And honestly, I do not believe that there are many either male or female (of any sexual orientation, I might add) who disapprove of a delicious pair of boobs

And on a sidenote, I definitely approve of delicious pair of boobs.

Slaanesh seem to be the most evil goddess in warhammer to me. btw what is this model?
π: 0 β©: 1
DorianM In reply to Debb555 [2010-06-19 22:27:16 +0000 UTC]
First, Slaanesh is not a she, it is more of an it, changing to he or she as needed, and I would not call it evil per se.
The model is Reaper's Sophie the Succubus.

alright, thnx that's good to know. But you know what, I still view Slaanesh as a she, and the eldar does too

But I see how Slaanesh's also an "it", it has no specific gender, so yeah you're right too

She is the right size for a Daemon Prince, 70mm, or a bit more than twice the size of a marine. Was a lot of fun to paint.

DorianM In reply to Necrotarch [2010-02-08 13:38:04 +0000 UTC]
The face is not really impressive. The mini I got was poorly cast and some 30-40% of her face was badly damaged, mostly the side which you can see but is a bit in the shadow. It had to be flattened with green stuff, so it does not look too good.

I love the tat on her hip! I not good at doing tattoo's. Do you have any tips on how you do it? once again great work!
I also want to say that my eye is drawn to her left knee cap and the flesh really looks real.

Thanks for the comment
At first I had a strict and far-fetched plan about tattoos... wanted to make a tribalized star of chaos. when i started sketching the thing on her leg, however, I realized that there is no way I could achieve what I wanted, so I gave up and started jamming.
Using a fine-detail brush and a watered down black with just a bit of shadow gray added I started making random crescent-like shapes on the area that was supposed to be covered with tattoos, and then worked up from that. The only nasty thing was that I had to go with whatever I do as corrections on the already shaded and highlighted skin would be rather hard.

Fantastic freehand! Especially the tatoo, simple, but it works
