The sun was up high when I opened my eyes.Then I closed it immediately.Then memories run through me and I felt fear. I was terified. Since the day I've met with the Salvatores I woke up with fear every day but this time it was different. Last night Katherine was there and broke my neck. Then how in hell could I be alive? Ouch…the sun hurts my eyes so bad and my head is spinning.What's happening with me?

Katherine.

Is she still there?

Nope.My room is empty.Then I found a letter.She wrote it onto my mirror with my favourite lipstick.Yuck. I can throw it out.

„Dearest Talia,

I had to step out since I have serious buisness, but I can't wait the time when we'll be both free and we'll have so much fun together! Until then be nice, and don't kill anyone important.

Love-K."

Oh my Lord! How did she meant I shouldn't kill anyone important? I'm not gonna kill…I'm not used to. She's insane, unless…

I     Must    call    Damon!

„Damon, help me!"-I cried to his voicemail. Luckily my parents were on their way to work.I was alone.

Every inch of my body ached,I felt my brain numb.I should have been figure it out!

An hour later, which was my longest hour of my existence, he arrived. I was sitting in the dark when I heard him at the front door.I cursed myself that I was so careful not to invite him in-now I had to reach the door. Every step I took was full of pain. I did it!

„Come on in,Damon!"-I mumbled. Then the next thing I felt that I was in his arms and I saw his mouth moving, I saw his anxious eyes but I cannot hear it.I'm gonna pass out.

I had to focus on him-so I tried to hang onto his mesmerizing blue eyes and slowly I could hear him.

„Talia speak to me! What's wrong?  What ails you? What's the matter?"-he asked over and over again. Then he saw my eyes. I don't exactely know what he'd seen but it made him furious. Then I passed out.

I  came round at his car-he was on the phone with somebody.He said we'll be there in 2 minutes.

„Damon where are we going?"-I asked
„Shh my love, everyting is gonna be alright"-he answeed without belief.

He stopped the car and pulled my hood around my face,then he carried me to the door. When it opened I saw a beautiful woman standing there.

„Take her in"-I  heard her voice. Her voice was the most comforting, most lovely voice I've ever heard. Then I was in the house and Damon took me to the couch.

„What the hell happened? I think you said she's gonna be safe in her house!" the woman asked

„Katherine happened! Someone invited her in and I'm sure she played Elena!"-Damon retorted neately and showed her something on his phone

I was confused-who-what-why? „Why are we here Damon?And where exactely?"-I asked

„Sorry, my love. We're completely safe.Talia this is Theo, my…"
„Best friend. Let's just say best friend. I was so sure you'd never choke this out!"-she kept looking at him as she finished his sentence
„Theodora Maxwell-human- at your service. Welcome at Damon's number one hideaway. Tell me please what happened.What did you done with Katherine?"
„I just outrage her"-I mumbled but instead of making a face she started to laugh
„High five! Such a brave young woman! I already like you! But back to buisness.."

And I had to tell them everything from the moment Damon left me alone outside of the house

Theo became furious. „See, this is your fault Damon! How could you left her alone before you cheking the house? 'Mr. I'm So Good At Protecting' Bahh.." And she went to the kitchen

„Everything on this world is suppose to be my fault?You went totally nuts all by yourself here"-Damon yelled after her

„No, it wasn't his fault"-I tried to protect him.There were something strange between the two of them.When they spoke I could hear that they're half serius but on the other hand so playful.some kind of teasing were in their voice

Theo brought a cup of something-to me. I could smell it. Blood.
„And me?"-Damon asked affronted
„Self-service" her smile wicked

„Why should I drink this?"
„'Cuz you're transitioning ,I'm sure you figured it out and this is the fastest and cleanest way"
„And the least funny-if you ask me. At this point she's like Saint Stefan, such a buzz killer"-Damon added

Theo just showed a wicked smile and punched him on his shulder-„Would you be happy if she'd be frantic and take a bite on the  half of the town? Geez Damon.The council is already on alert, you know it from the first hand! Think-or at least take a try!"

„Really? It's easy for you, sitting here, safe, but I'm the one who risking all of us's butt every day in the council, running shifts with Ric, looking for Katherine, plus protect all of you!" Holy crap-Damon started to became mad.

„Without much success! And remember who told me to do that. Stay out of it Theo-you said-I'll take care of everything, you said-you just stay there where Katherine cannot reach you-you said. If you'd let me I 'd already kill the bitch Cuz obviously the Salvatores are too emotionally involved! How long you'd wait? Who'd be next? Me or Elena? Where's the point whan you'd say stop and do sth?"-she almost shouted

This headed a completely wrong way.I was sitting there wached them arguing and shouting and it seemed they forgot me.They must have had this conversation a couple of times before because they rolled their eyes often like they'd know what'd be the others next sentence.

„That's enough! I have things to do! Talia my love, stay here with her please-I know she's not the best companion right now but she'll tell you all the stuff and help you.I'll be in a hurry I promise! „-and he turned to her

„And see you later crazy chick. Take a xanax! „-and with his usual smile he stepped out
„I'd better take a stake! Annoying bastard!"-she shouted after him

She brought a blood bag to me and lumped down beside me.She doesn't looked like she'd be afraid of me. But I was afraid of myself. I could hear her heart and her veins pulsing from the previous shouting.

„Yep-long story.In shellnut I've met him when I was 18.It's been 6 years by now.Whoa. Anyway He was always like this but I saw him the way that no one else could-the old Damon.The gentleman he was raised for. I was with him when he had fallen out of his macho role."

And she showed me her marvelous tear shaped ring.With one quick move she opened it.
„Vervain?"-I marveled
„Just in case. I've never loved being compelled. And Damon has his temper. Stefan knows it more then anyone"

We were chatting the whole day, she kept me drinking, I could ask anything she always had an answer even the vampire related stuff. Then she grabbed her phone
„C'mon Talia lets get a talisman for you.I'm sure you're not planning to live your life in the dark"
„But from who? You know witches?"
„I used to know one but Damon killed her. Poor Bree. You don't want to know, believe me."
„So?"
„Chillax Talia.I'm gonna call Bonnie. Fingers crossed. She doesn't particularly likes me"

„Mostly because all she knew about me is I'm close to Damon. Not such a reference for a witch."
A few minutes later it was set.
„Talia one more thing. You should remember that we are in danger.No, not just from the obvious one. Since Damon makes enemies on the daly basis it's quite important hiding from these persons."
„That's why he kept you hidden."-I realized
„I'd rather say locked, arrested."-she smirked. Her eyes were almost as blue as Damon's but her hair was long thick curly reddish-brown waterfall. She was marvelous.
„Thank you"-she said suddenly "I see the benefit of your presence in his life"
Then knocked on the door.and it scared to hell out of me ,but Theo stayed calm as a queen
„Chillax.Just Bonie came"
She walked in, impatiently. She held her hand out of something then opened her huge and old book and started to whispering.I just saw the delicate ring when she finshed it. „Done. Same rules still holds good. Keep it in mind. Tell him he owes me."And she strut out.

„Have a nice day you too, Ms. Sunshine"-Theo whispered.I wanted to try it immediately. It worked! Thank god.
Suddenly I became jelous.I wanted to know more about these two.
„Damon comes a lot?"
„Occasionally.Usually when he had a lot on his mind and want to argue with someone. Sometimes when he sad or upset."
„So all the time. And you never wanted to be a vampire? He never wanted to turn you?"

„Blood took your sober senses? Stucking with her for forever?We both rather die"-There he stood in the doorway arms crossed ,croocked smile on his face.

„Damon!"-and I raced into his arms.
„Succeed?"-she doesn't even turn to him

„Then it's still have a potential."-she added sourly.
