I agree with you almost too much. Doing shit like this is only an excuse for art. Its not art if you literally sexualize it too the max and call it art. Because that's an excuse. They need to get a life and fucking draw. Yeah i know you don't have to draw for art but if you wanna make body art atleast don't make it as shitty and horrible as this. There's literally people opening their asshole on this website. And they call it "art". What the fuck? Again, that's obviously an excuse because i don't get how opening your asshole is art. 1. Generalizations such as those you engaged in tend to expose a highly biased mind.
2. So called self-portrait? Why so called? It's of herself. It's a portrait. Self portrait. Just because it is something you disagree with doesn't invalidate it any more than my disagreement with what others feel is art doesn't invalidate it.
3. And there's the key... "To me art is..." To you this isn't art. To others it is. Someone puts a wooden cross in a jar of pee and it's art. Someone throws blobs of blue paint at a wall and its art. Some say Ansel Adams isn't art because it's just a photo of something already there. Some argue against Frank Lloyd Wright as an artist. To others each and every one of these is a true artist. Art is so highly subjective that you can't make generalized statements about it. And that's kind of the point. Some would argue that she puts in hard work to keep herself in amazingly good shape.
4. I think the fact that she takes photos of herself and shares them here answers your final sentence rather completely. But in case it has eluded your keen intellect, she's good with it.
The real question here, is why are you even here? 2.Self Portrait-A picture of an artist produced or created by that artist.
3.Abstract art is art because you need to now where to put the paint and how small to put it to achieve the beauty of that picture. But this isn't art there's no effort at all.
