Description took me about 6hrs (yeah, that much) to finish this, im not all that happy about the end result, but oh well. i don't wanna spend another 6hrs on small "bugs"

also i wasn't sure if this should be rated "mature" or not... i don't think it should so i didn't rated it as mature, but i don't really know where DA draws the line of what's mature or not. anyway...

Ehhh... Somebody’s probably already answered the β€œis this mature content” question, but, I think it just has to do if it’s realistic and there are chunks of the body or guts and crap like that.

Anyways, I love Elfen Lied and therefore love this. Fav.

Ack, Elfen Lied! That show seriously freaked me out (Even more than Paranoia Agent!) After seeing this girl get butchered, I'm afraid to watch any more episodes, heh. You did a really great job on this though. (I assume you use Flash too?) Keep up the great work!!

heh, i like it a lot so far thanks ^__^ well, i use Flash too, but mostly for websites and animation, for just drawing and coloring i preffer illustrator

I don't think it's quite mature, unless you see it that way. Anime blood isn't that bad, anime gore, on the other hand.. and realistic nudity that shows 'bits' instead of making them invisible...

Anyways.. I really love your style here, this new-ish one has been used in anime in varying ways, being able to reproduce that style must have been difficult. Is it really cel-shaded or completely digitally coloured? In the full view, I noticed what looked like tear stains on her cheeks.

Not being close to having this kind of quality in my own work, I can't think of much to critique. Very well done.

yeah, its just a "little" blood
it was Adobe Illustrator all the way, so.. the shading is pretty much filled vectors over each other. (is there an easyer way to do it? ). yup, those are tear stains

Well.. most recently I've been using photoshop's pen tool.. that's the easiest way for me. I think Illustrator has one too.. but it's harder to use, IIRC.

yea illustrator has a pen too, i don't know if its the same as PS i never used the one in PS, since i always use illustrator for vector stuff, i use it on illustrator though it isn't that hard i'll try the PS one someday, just for kicks, cuz i really can't live without the "warp tool"
