Description This is an amazing accident. During the preview, it looked pretty much like a "magic swirl" surrounding a red robed wizard pining over a crystal ball with a little spider in it. Unfortunately, I rendered it TOO fine, so it looks less the wizard with all the detail, but still good.

Wow looks amazing. Did you use photoshop? I'd like to know how you made it.

No, I don't know how to use photoshop. This is a fractal, it's a picture made with math, basically. Thanks for the compliment.

This is awesome, it reminds me of a super macro on some sort of plant life.

So what if there's a bit much detail? It still looks amazing! A very cool fractal and in full veiw, there is deffinatly a spider there.

Thanks. I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist. I don't usually post stuff here unless I think it looks decent, but then again, I have a strange eye for things.

Haha thanks. I don't even know what to do anymore, just screwing around with numbers until I see something pretty. No direction, no real skill involved, just accidents, I suppose. But what is "skill", but a controlled accident? /philosophy

True, just gotta learn how to control those accidents. I just do all the tutroials I can. They really help.

I have yet to do a tutorial. Maybe I'm lazy, but they're right there and apparently easy to learn. Not sure why I don't just go try some.

A promising flame. Rendered with a slightly lower alpha you could reduce the grain. Some more contrast would make it pure awesome. Good job anyway!

Perhaps, I will indeed play with it more and keep those tips in mind. I saw what happened and I HAD to render as it was. I just thought it was pure awesomeness as far as actual objects go. I guess you could say I render for shapes, not patterns. I try to make objects such as birds, planets, wizards, and the like rather than cool swishes of color for backgrounds.
