An art trade with . She were the one, who came up with the idea, and I'm glad I could finish it at last. She asked for Canada, from Hetalia. My sister's friends came home for a visit from Canada and they talked about the life there. I could realize how much time they spend outside, how much canadians love nature, hu-- ahem, harvest animals and so. Since Canada is rejected by others so often and spend so much time alone, I'm pretty sure he loves these things. His story is kind of sad, and I wanted to draw something heartwarming.
Sorry for messing up his fishing trousers.
I've asked for 2P!Italy, and it turned out very well!

Hehh.. I'm hungarian and fit Hungary very well. Like being a long haired brunette and often took for a boy as a child. Hima papa has some weird sense for this. xD

This is beautiful!!!! I love the water (I always find it a bit hard to paint) and the fish. Even the fish looks happy ^^
The colors go very well with the idea of nature - simple, watery (the light blues and dark greens), and even the red - sort of goes along with Canada. It gives it a very sweet look overall. And you used the Himuraya style, even though you said it was a bit difficult. Way to go for the challenge! It came out very well, I think.

I don't know how it happened, but I could manage to draw a proper Canada.

Ah, good luck with your degree~! Animation sounds like it would be fun. How is it? I am still thinking about what to do in college, and graphic design always comes to mind, but animation seems like fun as well. Would you make movies and tv shows?
