I didn't think you were gonna upload this to Deviant Art. Now I get to analyze! [insert happy clapping gif here]. So the first thing I really notice in this is the focal point, but what caught me off guard was her eyes. The way you draw them is simplistic, and cartoony. The soft tapered edges on the figures faces, and the slightly larger head to shoulder ratio really helps make this piece feel like a cartoon. It shows you've learned so much about anatomy, that you can bend the rules now. You've gotten even stronger! And of course I love the blurred dilapidated background. The muted, browns, and velvet reds work well together. You continually display your master of color theory. It's beautiful. The fire to the left of your focal point figure provides some nice storytelling, and in fact I love the emotion in the blurred background figures! Those two really ground the piece, and make it feel like it belongs to a great whole, a bigger picture if you will. There's a lot of storytelling going on, is what I mean. Man, this is what you should put in your portfolio, not just because it was for a company, but because it really shows off your incredible skill, and the kind of level you're on. You just continually amaze, and astonish, my friend. I know I've said this before, but I'm so happy to know you. You're like... my coolest close friend. I love everything you do.
