Didn't notice that until you said! Sweet! It's my love of monkeys that got me interested in Assassin's Creed because the whole franchise was well known for its monkey business.

He's also a typical stoic assassin with a very slim personality, very much like the first thing that comes to our minds when we think of the term, "assassin," without thinking of either Ezio, James Bond, or ninjas.
I find Diddy and Altair to not share much common interests with each other. For example: there are these old pictures I drew:

In fact, when you mentioned the little monkey, I was thinking, "Nintendo has to look at Assassin's Creed 4 for competition if they are going to make a 3D Donkey Kong game. The platforming in the entire AC franchise reminds me of monkeys all the time, and AC4 has sweet pirates, beautiful jungle environments, and underwater states even."

I actually bothered retelling the story of Assassin's Creed 2 except Ezio's home planet just so happens to be secretly occupied by Sega (as this is the case www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qZImM⦠) and the classic video game characters of the 90's secretly alter history around Ezio, starting with Diddy Kong, who swims up to Ezio and pretends to be his pet monkey and teaches Ezio some parkour techniques. Would you bother asking me what Diddy did when Ezio was about to use Leonardo's flying machine, or who carried some of Altair's Codex Pages at one point? I'll give you a hint: the answers to both of these questions has to do with Donkey Kong 64.
Also, I took notice of Ezio's voice actor and the uncanny resemblance of his uncle, but I blame the animus for translating Uncle Mario's greeting the way it did because I think the only ones that may have even heard or recognized, "It'sa me, Mario!" are Desmond, Rebecca, Shaun, and Lucy. None of the Auditores would be able to hear that because they were actually speaking in Italian. The funniest part is, they would not even know what a video game is, neither do they speak English! Nintendo is like over half a millenium ahead of their time!

Why don't we get something like that in the series? My frigate username's a monkey-penguin hybrid that can't wear armor on and what got me interested in Assassin's Creed in the first place is the generic gameplay: how Assassins fought in those games is how my monguin should fight, with wits, swift tactics, and trickery charisma along with only a single little dagger as he's too small to even carry a short sword! Have you seen "Monkey Thieves?" That's Assassin's Creed in Real Life!
