There's a glitch I've encounter that locks up the game from keyboard commands and you have to task manager force close to get out.

I dismissed this game the moment I saw the boxart, my reasons are as follows, hopefully you will see my points, but bare with me.
It's not a personal dislike towards what i've seen of this, it's a serious mistake in terms of game development, were they smashed to high heaven when this came about?
The key to games like this (franchises) in terms of game development, is just that, 'development', so, using all the evidence we have.
- it stars Haytham's father, not bad (good move doing a prequel as opposed to a sequel.)
- It features sea combat/ naval aspects (done in AC3 already.)
- Flintlock pistols (done in AC3, even the dual wield.)
- It's practically the same era as AC3 (in terms of game-related discoveries, inventions and technology.)
- It's pirates, that is extremely disapointing.
AC1: The Crusades
AC2: The renaissance
AC3: The French revolution
AC Black Flag: Pirates and treasure (hell, even chests have been done.)
See my argument...
I'll keep an open mind, but I forsee failure.

I don't think so. The AC franchise is too popular and they make way too much money with it to just put an end to it. Other than that, I don't really care for an end. I like to see new characters and games from Ubisoft!
