You can post this as "Fan Art" . If you don't want to get into any trouble don't sell it as a print. As long as you stay poor, D.C comic will be cool with it.

Actually they might actually be able to get him over the bat shield since it's so similar to Batman's logo. A slight redesign of that would be needed. My bad.

Actually I've consulted lawyers about stuff like this. Since he didn't CALL him batman or captain america, both of which are trade marked words, he's not violating any trade marks. Just call him Captain Bat and he'd be fine. Unless there was a time when Batman or Captain actually looked like this then he's not infringing on copyrights either since this is significantly different than either of their costumes.
Corporations may try to come after him for it if they're feeling particularly butt hurt over it but they wouldn't actually have a legal leg to stand on.

I have had friends who have done stuff like this. Marvel is usually WAY more friendly about this stuff than D.C can be.
As long as you don't make money off their copy righted material, they will never chase you for it.
