Description
Commission forProtagonist from the game they're working on.
I handed in the drawing on the left, then they edited it as on the right. WOW it's 300% more dynamic XD
The drawing is done for their team so it won't be used commercially.

Can I ask about the motion of the sword? it doesn't look correct to me.
Though the coloring shows a rather great improvement.

Yeah I agree with 3imad, I noticed exactly the same things, the sword is quite wrong, and the coloring is better at the right pic

Your art is going to make you famous, especially if video game companies use it.
They should be paying you for this, because you have some damn good quality art.

They do pay her for this, hence the 'commission for ORiGO-GAMES' seen in the description

i love the both... second is dynamic...
the first is doubleleaf style <3 ^^
on the first one, i have the sensation that the hero is freezed in the air.
like a slow motion...
just my point of view

This is so cool.
One thing, I wonder: You said you hand-drew the picture on the left. What did you color it with? It doesn't look traditional to me. I might get it wrong, though.

Nope, she didn't write that it's hand-drawn but she handed it in. XD
At the bottom of the description it says she used Photoshop CS6 and the category says digital art as well. ;3
Anyway, wow these editing skills really give the pic another boost! o.o

Because it's doubleleaf's art.
A) they'd have to get doubleleaf's permission to use commercially, and pay her due royalties. Maybe doubleleaf doesn't feel comfortable with them using the work, maybe they don't care to, or don't currently have the means to, pay royalties for using the piece commercially. But I think the bigger problem is;
B) doubleleaf's art has a very signature style. Everyone knows when they see a doubleleaf piece. Likely doubleleaf's style does not look like any of the other art that is being used for the game. You don't want clashing work promoting your piece - you want uniformity. Thus, this commission is likely for the personal enjoyment of the commissioner, and nothing more.
