You know I think it's great that it's open to interpretation by each viewer...
My immediate thought was father and son, and I agree with several other comments that it's so sad that almost anytime there is a show of "affection" (for lack of a better word) between two men it is seen as either immediately gay, or emasculating, when it very well could be a father/son, brother/brother, friend, etc relationship or in fact gay, which is also beautiful...Or if you choose to see it, a a same-sex romance scene, either way the emotion captured, and what the scene conveys is absolutely lovely!

Yay, one of my favorite comics characters. I am SO not a fan of the costume redesigns Dick and Tim are getting, however. Dick looks like he stole the Batsuit that Terry wore in the Batman Beyond cartoon

Let me just say: OH. MY. GOD! This is AMAZING! It is BEYOND amazing! The posing of them. How Dick in cradled back into Bruce's chest and between his legs. The tension in Bruce as he supports both his and Dick's weight! And yet, they are both gazing at the other, and Dick using that one hand to hold onto Bruce's arm! Omg, this just so endearing! I love Dick's little half smile, it is like he is saying "I know I can always count on you Batman." An Bruce is expressionless, but bu the way he is holding and in fact GAZING at Dick shows that he cares~ And that cape, how is billows out behind Bruce! And the shadows in it! Everything is just soo detailed, and the perspective of this is just amazing! And i LOVE their shadows on the building! Omg those are freakin amazing!

Even when Dick Grayson "grew up" he always looked up to Bruce.Even if he heavily denied it.
I'm a bit out of touch with this whole yaoi thing. I just grew up with these two as Batman and Robin and what I see here is Bruce always looking for his original protege, no matter how capable he is.
The anatomy is wonderful and believe me, you deserve all the attention you get with simple but beautifully rendered figure paintings such as this.

One question though: Where exactly do all these people see the "gayness" in this? I support both the slashy and platonic interpretations of this, but has society really arrived at the point where ANY sign sign of tenderness between men HAS to be sexual? Sweet Jesus ... =.=
If it's the groups: it's easily explained: She's a popular artist and her art gets requested by a bunch of group that'll interpret it as they want to.

Get over what? Oh, you think I'm a "homophobe", don't you? Well sweetnips, I'm not. I never said nor implied that I hated or that I was afraid of gays. It would be rather nonsensical of me, seeing as I find myself attracted to and have had relationships with both the same and opposite sex.

I never said you were a homophobe, nor did that even cross my mind. I've seen comments on this image that are homophobic, and yours is not one of them. Just because I happen to like "yaoi" (even if I don't think this image is gay), and that you don't like it or whatever else it is how you feel about this picture, doesn't automatically make incapable of making a better argument than, "WELL UR JUST A HOMOPHOBE HERP DERP!" Quite frankly, I hate fangirls who can only use that as their argument, and if I were to do the same thing, it would be hypocritical of me.
I was saying that it happens--not just gay versions of things, but Naruto versions, furry versions, or whatever-else--the-hell-fantards-can-turn something-into versions--and that it's all over the internet. If someone doesn't like it, maybe they should just get off the internet and save someone the complaint. OR they can live and let live, and move on (meaning you could not make the comment at all, freedom to or not, and move on in your DA life).
I'm only giving advice through experience here, but I do completely understand if you find the temptation to comment anyway too great. Really, I do. A perfect example would be commenting toward your comment.
