I watched some of Inspector Gadget episodes first time in a very long time and remembered how awfully stupid Gadget is and the poor doggie always do the hardest work..

I used to think "Oh it makes sense that Gadget didn't catch that many bad guys, he didn't have much in the weapons department." Well I saw some of the old show and he had a FREAKIN' LASER FINGER! THATS AWESOME!Why the hell didn't he use that all the time?!

I'm not being nitpicky, it just was one of those films that I didn't like because it was very annoying and cliched at parts, like Optimus dying and the Twins; characters who not even fans of the movie can stand up for.

Oh the epic nostalgia! I would love it if they rebooted this guy, especially in the style you were capable of. Wouldn't it be great if he were slightly less corny/goofy and more down to business? Or would that be messing with a classic too deeply?
