Lol, you don't need to be able to play FPS because there are tutorials at the start and a beginner difficulty you can have it on.
If you do play Black Ops make sure you play zombies, it's so freaking awesome. Also in the Multi-player section there is a combat training so you can practice.

Generally when someone says they can't play FPS it's because they are bad at that type of game as they play other types like 3rd person fighting games, racing, etc.
Nonetheless I do apologize if I have offended you or anyone else, it was wrong for me to assume something about a person that I know little to nothing about.
