I buyed ACB on U.S.A from Best Buy to get game here on Brazil and i got the codex.

If I'm correct, no matter what edition, the officer is unlocked when you reach level 50 in multiplayer mode. Don't put money on me, though xD

Nope, you need a code to get him, just like with the Harlequin, who I can't get without spending a heap load of cash on the Limited Edition Codex version....as it comes with codes for both characters, both maps and a heap load of other, more tangible goodies.
The Creepy McHarelquin was the US Special Edition character. The UK/Europe and Australia got Officer Yummy McAwesome-coat in out shiny Special Editions.

really? in the US, it's dependent upon which store you pre-ordered from - GameStop had the Harlequin, and pretty much everywhere else had The Officer. my b/f pre-ordered from Best Buy and got The Officer, and I got the Harlequin.

Actually, I've heard that pre-ordering through Best Buy will also give you the code for the Officer. Not positive about it though. (And someone has probably already commented saying just that...)

Europeans are lucky. They get the best, Special Edition for this game out of all of us. (America's version comes with a working Jack in the Box. Because, you know, that's just as awesome as the Codex Edition... right)
