One of my favorite games of the past three years. But I'll never understand why they chose a high school drama student to voice the outsider...Β

I think the german guy who voiced the Outsider fits perfectly.
He sounds so... bored and emotionless, and I think thats exactly the way the Outsider is.
Well, he has his world... the... Nothing. And I think nothing happens there, so he must be very bored

Yeah, I totally get that! That's the whole idea with the outsider.
But there's a crucial difference between bored and boring.
The voice actor's delivery was completely flat but what personally bothered me the most
was the guy's voice... He just sounds like a wimpy college kid.Β

I think his voice fits him. I don't know, his voiced by a young man and he looks like a young man.

I mean, they had Brad Douriff, Lena Heady, Susan Sarandon, Chloe Grace Moretz, Carrie Fisher andΒ Michael Maddsen
voicing various characters... they clearly had an ample budget for hiring voice talents. The outsider just sounded like
a high school senior trying (and failing) to sound ominous.

I could get a lot of hate for saying this, but as it stand I personally think Dishonored is a much better assassin/stealth game that Assassin's Creed.
I kind of think that if Dishonored came out before the first Assassin's Creed, it would probably have been much bigger than it is.

I kinda agree, especially when you get to have super powers and wear a sick mask in a steampunk(ish) world....:3
However the two are totally different games. AC is in third person, and it's more about historical events than revenge, but overall I love them both.Β Β

I'll admit I'm actually a bit biased anyways, I've only gotten to play very little of any Assassin's Creed games, but I didn't really have too much fun with them.
The story also seems a little... mindfuckish.

I've only started playing Dishonored as well, so I guess I'm in no position to judge too
But yeah the story can be quite confusing sometimes....had to play it several times and look up AC wiki to fully understood itΒ
I prefer games in first person, 3rd person is not really my thing...plus I suck at climbing walls lol
The characters and the historical settings in Assassin's Creed are the main reasons that got me into the franchise. The soundtrack is brilliant, and there are some memorable moments as well.
Overall these are just my opinions <3

Fair enough, but yeah, I love the overall story line behind Dishonored because it is easy to understand, yet still leaves some mystery, and overall it stays interesting.
I've honestly never been one for history anyways, I've learned the basics of what I needed to for school and just the overall mistakes of the past, and overall.... it bores me to death.
