I finished the game today! despite all the negative reviews I enjoyed the game a lot. It has its flaws but I didn't mind them much, and also I never played the past Thief games so I couldn't compare. (I didn't understand the ending though) I hope they'll make Thi5f, I'm sure they'll make everything a lot better next time
and I love GarreeettRegarding commissions, I'm still making progress with the requests I got from the last opening. If you're still waiting for yours, I'm very sorry for the delay! I'm hoping I can start taking new requests before summer.

I wanna play it yes, the only original thief I played was the third, Deadly Shadows. It's quite creepy, and it has a very infamous level called "The Cradle", don´t want to spoil anything but in Garret's words -If there's a way to cram more misery into one building's history, I can't think of it.-

You know, you make a good point here. I always wondered where the hell he was sticking all those scissors and fancy pens and silverware. Won't even go into what the heck he does with busts and urns.
...Wait does this mean no one actually gets the gloom, they just get stabbed by falling scissors? XD

My interpretation of the ending was that Garret understood that Erin's demands for the claw was a repeat of time and that she was going to fall again anyways.
The reason he hit the book was that the Primal was still trapped/connected to Erin and the Book and damaging the book released it, saving the city from unraveling.
Also, Erin in the Endgame was not her physical self, she had left her body.
For all intents and purposes, she was a ghost, already "dead".

About old thief games - they are fantastic, especially Thief 2 - The Metal Age (my favourite one). They're more demanding than newer games. I haven't played Thi4f yet, but soon I will

By the way, I know that feel, when you like a game, even when the others "hate" it. I like (a lot) Diablo III, 'cause I never played the two others. I can't compare. Maybe it's better this way, isn't it ?
