Description I lost who have requested this scene, but the request was Altair who just made a kill sitting on a bench to let the templars pass through and hiding his bloody blade from a boy sitting next to him C: Thanks for the nice idea!

I like the contrast very much. The little boy with his wooden toy and Altair, next to him with his bloody hidden blade. Really great piece!

Cute indeed I like this side of Altair, it's so father...ish XD It's so grown-up and mild, protecting the child from the harsh reality and truth.

It's actually really beautiful.

Not very in-character of him to do that. I was thinking more along the lines of hiding it from the kid so he wouldn't freak and call the Templar guys on him, but whatever you say, bro.

TheScryer In reply to zookydragon [2010-10-21 12:20:27 +0000 UTC]

Right after the kid tells him to clean the blade off and hide it. And the kid is named Junayd. It's from a fanfiction and was probably commissioned by the author.

I don't care about what's "in character". I'm talking about one picture, not the person in general. I never even played the game, just tried it out a bit. Yeah, whatever I say.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

zookydragon In reply to Syneyhha [2010-05-13 01:05:27 +0000 UTC]

The person in the picture is someone else's character. It's best to respect that person by respecting their character. You wouldn't like it if someone posted a drawing of you raping your dog, right? No, because it's sick and you wouldn't do it. It's out-of-character, no? Plus, it's another person's character, not the artist's, or more importantly, yours.

You should go play the game. Seriously. It's good.

Not really. I'm turning 16 in a few days, and I JUST got to know my uncle committed suicide when I was younger. That kid can't even be older than 7 years.

GreyCorbie In reply to Syneyhha [2010-05-13 02:03:11 +0000 UTC]

Hm. It must be upbringings. I remember watching coverage of the Oklahoma City Bombing when I was 2 (including when bodies were carried out), and when a girl was killed somewhere along a road that we pass to get to my Dad's work, my mom stopped the car near the police tape and lectured me about common sense and "stranger-danger". Scared me so bad that when a guard tried to pick me up after I ran away at a mall, I beat him up and screamed myself voiceless (and I was 2 and a half... nasty experience. I kept thinking that someone would stop to help me, but no one did )- but I'm grateful for being taught that way. My parents were very open about my family's past of suicides, alcoholism, and abuse, because they thought that if we -my siblings and I- learned, we wouldn't become part of that.

that post was too long... and irrelevant...

Damn o.o Shit, and I thought I'd had a hard life! My parents always have been like "Don't do this, don't do that" and then got mad if I did x3

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GreyCorbie In reply to Syneyhha [2010-05-13 22:05:58 +0000 UTC]

No, it's loads easier to learn the way my parents had me do it! They've always been really Socratic. They started talking to me as if I were an adult when I was really young, so now I feel as though I understand current politics, economics, global issues, et cetera a lot better than many of my peers. Maybe I'm a wee bit cynical (and pretty darn paranoid), but it's a whole lot better than being like the naive (and often rich- nasty combo. They're often snotty and stoned all at once) kids up in my neighborhood.

My real name is (shhh, don't tell) Carleigh Joanne (Pronounced: Carly Joann), and I call my self Ace because my signature symbol is an Ace playing card with the number 13 in the corner, meaning I'm bad luck to mess around with (I'm really a big softy XD). That's why they call me CJ or Ace. Man, this reply is f--kin' LONG!!!! ;3

Now I shall go tell the world that there is a gal who goes by CJ who's name is Carleigh Joanne. *shot* or not. XD

Guh, I hate people like that >.<
I live in a really tiny village surounded by tall mountains, so I don't know how it is to live in a city or anything. Here in our little community, there's no drugs. Lot's of smoking and alcohol though, but I have angst against drunk people, and I want to puke of cigarettes XD I'm kind of a goodie-twoshoes, I guess, but I like it.

I'm the same way! I hate it when people come to school and sit down next to me smelling like cigarettes, pot, booze, and all that crap. It's so yucky. They just do it all because they're bored.

Link, please? XD I've never heard that before, and I do remember that (and other things from my early childhood, such as riding a family friend's pony and getting lost at the mall XD), though it might just be because it's something that's refreshed in my mind from time to time.
