Malik's left finger was cut off before he lost his arm. I think doubleleaf has a couple of pictures of Malik with his left arm, and his finger is gone

Ah~ I'm not really sure about the purchasing thing, I just think it might be asking if you want to make a print out of your artwork. You don't HAVE to do it, I think there is a skip button somewhere at the bottom.
The only thing you have to pay for on dA is a subscription, and if you buy other people's prints.
