I drew this too sketchy.. sorry I haven't slept tonight.Request from , Altair treating Malik's amputated arm.
I thought Malik will never let Altair treat his arm right after the incident, so if Altair will treat it it will be when Malik's sleeping.
It must've hurt ALOT to cut off an arm and he must've suffered lots of pain and fevers

No anesthetic in 1000 CE, or thereabouts, so of course Malik would faint from the pain. Β If the amputation itself didn't make him pass out, cauterizing the wound to quicken the process of scarring definitely would. Β And of course he would NEVER let the self-concerned assassin Altair treat his wounds, the one that got his arm off in the first place as a result of carelessness.

This is one of my favorite drawings by you <3 I love the whole idea of it all as well as Altair's calm expression and Malik's pained one (though I must say, poor Mal! D: ) I'm sure Malik would kill Altair if he knew he was doing this. XDX
Also, for my English End of Course exam last year, the prompt for one of the three compositions you had to write was to write something in which someone was taking care of someone else. I remembered this drawing and used it as inspiration and ended up writing my composition as a fanfic based off of this amazing picture. I would love to show it to you, but sadly, I can't get the story back.

Poor malik, I actually had a serious cut on my upper arm, enough to get me into ER, and even with all the drugs it still huts a lot.... a I got a few fever as well, I can't even imagine what Malik went through...

Al Mualim probably made him do it. Something along the lines of "see with your own eyes what you have done!" That'd be my guess anyway, Altair was still kind of a prick at that point so I doubt it was guilt or kindness.

Or maybe he secretly felt bad because he had a purpose for being a prick and snuck in to do it because perhaps the wound wasn't bad enough to cut his arm off and...
