That's awesome I downloaded Portal through stream. It was about 19.95 (I'm assuming USD). I had played up to lvl 15 previously at a friends house - so I dropped everything and bought it myself. I didn't bother spending the 60+ dollars to buy the orange box because I can't play games like Half Life or Team Fortress 2 because I get very motion sick because of the fast paces of the game. At least with Portal I can take my time (unless I'm flinging...god what an experience! )

Yah - when you make a portal on the ground far below you (while standing on a ledge) and another portal above your head facing out. You fall down into the first portal and your momentum causes you to fling out the second one and across the room.

It gets even more challenging when you have to double fling! After flying out of the second portal in a double fling you actually have to shoot another portal while in mid-air to fall through again to pick up more speed. Handy for large distances to fly over

Oh yeah I love it! When I first played the game at my friend's house - I couldn't help but squeal 'Whee!!" whenever I had to do it. I just had to die laughing when GLaDOS did it in the fling level too XD
