Description
A newer photo of my original ODST helmet. This is a fiberglass casting of an original model I sculpted. The helmet is specifically designed after the live-action "We Are ODST" costumes, so there are details and shapes that are different from those of the helmet in the game. The visor is vacuum-formed PET plastic, and I specifically left it clear because the visors on the live-action costumes are clear (the reflective silver "screen" is a digital affect added in post-production), plus there is video and game precedent for the clear visors anyways.Photo is © David Reimer and may not be used, edited, or reposted without permission.

That's awesome! I like the green color you used, rather than black. I'm actually in the process of an ODST helmet using the pepakura foam method.

This is a replica of the live-action suits built by Legacy Effects, and the color is among quite a few differences between the live-action and game suits. Nice catch!
