Description
My Dawnguard costume project from Skyrim is nearly complete! Just a few more nagging details and a little boot weathering left, then I can call this one DONE. This photo was taken this past Saturday during my final test fit. I needed to see if the skirt height needed adjustment, and luckily it did not. I'll be doing a full studio-style photoshoot of the costume this upcoming Saturday, but I really wanted to go ahead and show this off. Cool work! What material(s) did you use for your coat of plates?

Hey there, thanks! I actually have a three-part write up on this full costume, and every detail is explained in depth.
Part 1
2storyprops.blogspot.com/2014/…
The first entry discusses the creation of the Dawnguard Full Helmet and the Nordic Daggers.
Part 2
2storyprops.blogspot.com/2014/…
The second part glosses over the creation of the major fabric components - the inner shirt, the vest, and the skirt panels. I'm still learning when it comes to sewing, so it's not exactly a fountain of knowledge.
Part 3
2storyprops.blogspot.com/2015/…
The final segment discusses the creation of the vacuum formed armor and the various greeblies found throughout the costume.
