Description
These are replicas of the costumes worn in the live action trailer "We Are ODST" for the game Halo 3: ODST. The costumes produced by Legacy Effects for the commercial differ greatly from the armor worn in the in-game characters, so these are not intended to be "generic" ODST costumes.

The armor components were created from a variety of methods. About half of the pieces were custom-made 3D models (designed and built in-house) and then printed out and assembled with the Pepakura process. Details were then sculpted in Bondo and miscellaneous plastic parts. Other parts were created out of cardboard and Bondo. All of the parts were then molded and fiberglass castings were made.
