Ive been working on oil paintings lately. Its interesting how simple things like new mediums can teach and reinforce your stile and often you see a new way to approach your own creativity. I really like the way a single out of place color can draw attention to a subject no matter where it is on the paper.
This is on a cotton and paper mix media vellum. The background prep is Gesso and Acrylic paint, but the main painting was done with oils.
