Hi there, yes, the gloves do have a 'leopard skin' patterned trim on the cuff. Very dainty and very sweet indeedy. And no, I am not on commission, I just love what they create and make.

Yeppers, its a real hotel up in Bowen, Qld. They have renamed the place 'BowenWood' after they filmed the (rather dull) movie Australia there. Alas, we didn't venture inside - we got permission etc, but the sun was setting and needed to head to the beach.

My new monitor just arrived few minutes ago, it's the third try... I checked it with my notebook: no hum of the transformer this time and no fan at the backside...
I will connect it to my computer now an see if it works.
Do you use Nikon's Capture NX2? If you don't which software are you using for your D3 photos?

hey Andreas, you have had bad luck buying stuff sometime in 2008? Lets hope that stops next year. I did recieve a copy of Nikon Capture when I bought the D3, but I have not 'used' it - dunno why, I'm just happy with what I have. I use Lightroom for raw then photoshop etc. Here is a link for tethered shooting you may like : [link]
