Ooh, very nice--I'm always very impressed regarding oil paintings, having tried to work with oil paint myself and knowing that it takes a lot of time and patience (too used to fast-drying acrylics, myself). I love how you can see the individual strokes everywhere--the trees, the grass, the clouds....And the colors of that sunset! I feel the desire to paint now....

Very kind of you. Funny, I've done plenty of acrylic paintings and illustrations over the years, and for me at least, oil painting is easier just for that far slower drying time. This allows for easier blending, and the overall look of oil is superior to acrylic, I think. Acrylic is the most versatile of painting mediums though...I mean you can go for the oil or the watercolor look. Hope you get painting soon.

One more thing...I use the water based oil paints these days...almost no odor and very easy clean up. With about an hour of practice, it works just like regular oils.
