Description WORK IN PROGRESS....a 12" x 24" graphite pencil drawing on canvas board as the first stage of my next oil painting in my "Airshow Warbird" series. Douglas SBD Dauntless. Working from photographs taken during my recent day at the Planes of Fame Museum, Chino, CA when they flew this 79 year old warbird.
Next will be the underpainting, then the background, lastly the highly detailed airplane work.
