8" x 24" oil on canvas of an early test flight of the North American Mach 3 bomber, in the early 1960's. This is the first of two aircraft built, and is now on display at the USAF museum.Related content

Thanks. Both aircraft had the same wings...the outer parts normally dropped to ride the supersonic shockwave...please take a look at my other paintings of this plane, where I show the wingtip drop. Thought I would paint one this way, for once.
