Ahhhh nooo you guys don't know how long this took.
This is Cadence's assignment, her patrol was assigned to freeze the water connections to Lake Ezrael.
Advice: when you've committed to drawing all 8 cats in your patrol don't chose a strange point of view that you've never done before.
Not sure how I feel about this picture, I've been staring at it so long I can't decide If I love it or hate it. xD
Critique please! I would love to hear what y'all think I can improve on!
There are several things that bother me about this picture, it's lacking...something xD -but I just wanted to be done with it xD

xD just when I read that I couldn't help but think of curling or something, where you take a cat and throw it out on the water and it just makes a line of ice or something as it goes xD

I think I was getting tired of the picture, but initially I wanted to do reflections. And looking at it now it could probably use some overlay or something to give it some life and contrast xD
for the cats' colors I was limited to the prestanding designs OTL so I couldn't find a nice harmony between pelts without feeling like I was changing their designs OTL
but thanks ^^
next time I try this perspective I'll look more at the lighting and colors to make sure it looks as good as it can ^^

The only thing I could've thought to add to your gloriously wonderful picture would be to add shoulder blades or something.
I guess, what I mean is to add some kind of distinct place where you could tell where the shoulders and "hips" would be. I hope that makes some kind of sense XD It all makes sense in my head, but when I try to put into words... it just doesn't work lol. But any ways~ The shading and colors are all gorgeous~~

I tried to position them in a way so they didn't look to close together, and with 8 cats, I could tell it was going to be difficult in any perspective. I actually considered trying to draw it from beneath the ice, but I decided it would be more difficult and it would probably be hard to tell what was happening xD not to mention how much harder that would make coloring OTL

Pshh, and I can tell you put a lot of time into it. It turn out amazingly well though - so it was worth it! *w* I'm seriously digging the use of perspective. Even though I can only see their backs, I can still easily pick out who is who! <3
