Markings: A faint star and high stockings on all four legs. Eyes: R-Brown L-Blue
Other: Several scars across his body from spars with other stallions. *Personality: On first impression Minos will seem very arrogant, unserious, joking, and loud. He has an airy confidence about him, has a temper and is quick to anger, and quick to calm, short harmless outbursts are very common in his presence. He is all show and no kick. He is very high energy, always bouncing, moving and running and is often a pest to other horses. He doesn't fall high on the bravery scale and is very fast for a reason. Fleeing is his preferred method of escaping skirmishes. He laughs at the wrong moments, is horrible at reading others, rarely says the right thing in a serious situation and in general is an unskilled communicator.

He is susceptible to jealousy over even small things but especially of horses. Fiercely protective, guarding his band is perhaps the only time Minos would willingly choose to fight instead of flee. Though he may not be the best at noticing things he is good listener and a sincere and loyal companion. If a (close enough) friend approaches him with a problem he will focus his all on helping. If somehorse has patience enough to treat him with kindness he will normally calm down and relax in their presence. He does well around calm and patient horses but around anyone else with half the energy he has its bound to get chaotic.

*History: Minos was born into a large herd that lived in a desert oasis, the herd had a lack of space and tensions were very high amongst the horses. His mother, who had another filly after him seemed to have forgotten him after he turned a year old and, as he was a bit of a oddball and had no friends, he began seeking attention however a young colt could. He would pick on horses, and run for his life when an angry stallion set after him. Even when his mother was caring for him she was heavily protective and he rarely got interactions with others, then when his sister was born he was simply forgotten, thrown amongst the other horses hardly knowing how to act. Minos got quite good at avoiding kicks and bites aimed in his direction when he took up pestering herd members as a hobby. Hardly anyone in the herd had a care for the nuisance of colt he was, and the few that did were always lecturing him.

He began to feel suffocated and, though he was surrounded by many horses, lonely. So he left, right before he turned 2 he left his home herd, nobody noticed. He spent a year enjoying the sheer freedom of space, of having nobody but small critters as company and endless miles of dunes to stretch his galloping legs on. Though he passed by several herds and bachelor bands over time he had few interactions with other horses. When he was about 3 1/2 he stumbled across a boisterous band of young stallions, not able to resist their fun energy he spent several months running with them and picking silly fights with herd stallions. However as time past the band fell apart as some of the stallions got their own bands and others simply left. That left him quite depressed because this group had been the only friends he'd ever had. Once again alone he began roaming and wondering if the lone life really is for him. And that's where we find Minos today.
